Bailadora is one of my true pride and joys.
She came to me in
February 2006 as a gangly, sunburnt 2 year old. She was not on the list of horses her owner wanted me to take in for training
but I insisted on bringing her to the barn.
My "ugly duckling" blossomed within the first 3 months of training.
At her very
first show, Fiesta Florida - a PRE show, in June of 2006, she placed 2nd in her age class, received the Best Movement
Award for the class, was named Young Horse Movement Champion and she went on to be crowned the Absolute Movement
Champion of the show.
Since then, she has received the Gold Medal Movement Award at all IALHA shows she has attended and she
placed Top 5 in the Best Movment class of the 2006 IALHA Nationals.
In April 2007, she won her 2nd Young Horse Movement Championship
and for a 2nd time she was crowned the Absolute Movement Champion of the show at Fiesta Texas - also a PRE
show.
In November 2008, my beautiful swan went back home to go into dressage training. She will be sorely missed!
Thank
you, Jennifer Stewart of Royal Horse Farms, for giving Bailadora and me chance to do you proud!
